The qualities that made her team so fun to watch and successful are just as essential in business.
👥 Every player knew their position and what they were responsible for—just like in a well-structured business team.
🌟 They shared a vision of what success looked like. They had a common goal.
🚫 No grandstanding. Every point scored was a win for the team.
💪 Mistakes were quickly shaken off. They were resilient and stayed focused.
🔄 An external perspective and continuous improvement gave them the edge. The coach used an encouraging tone to suggest minor tweaks that improved performance.
Here’s howOwners, CEOs, COOs, Second-in-Commandscan apply these principles to improve operations and results:
⃗→ Clearly define roles and responsibilities.
⃗→ Make sure everyone knows what success looks like.
⃗→ Celebrate team achievements.
⃗→ Encourage resilience.
⃗→ Use mistakes as learning opportunities.
⃗→ Seek external feedback and apply it to improve performance.
Which of these resonates most with you?
